About Me

Anchor 1

When I'm not working on homework or studying, I participate in extracurriculars such as Engineers Without Borders. EWB is the organization I am most heavily involved in. I am currently the president of the organization. We are currently working on implementing WASH projects in three communities in Tanzania. EWB is really close to my heart because of my interest and passion for clean water.

I am a fourth year Environmental Engineering student at the University of Cincinnati. I am passionate about clean water and reversing contamination. I developed this passion when I was 11 years old, at the time of the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. I was struck by the destruction humanity's hubris caused. In addition to my shock and devastation, however, I was deeply inspired by the way people of all walks of life came together to help reverse the damage.

I have chosen my career path to reverse environmental destruction and to preserve our world.

The University Honors Program at the University of Cincinnati is an invaluable resource to its students. It has and will continue to help me explore my interests in clean water, clean energy, travel and culture, and more.  My strengths of input and learner mean I am always seeking new knowledge. I am excited to learn new perspectives, ideas, and information through my experience in the UHP.
